Additional text to force my content management system to only show the excerpt on the front page, rather than the entire post. Yes, I setup these templates to work this way, and I am fully able to change how these templates work. However, in the moment, I don’t want to make a change that will become permanent without giving it thought, yet I also don’t want all these videos crowding out the front page just because they don’t have a high word count. Yes, this points to a potential fix: I could change the switch to use vertical height, but I’m not quite ready to shave that yak.
