Yes, there are some parts of the continental US not yet served by DSL or cable modems. That’s why I’m looking for a dial up ISP. Nationally we’ve got AOL and Earthlink, followed by budget operators NetZero, PeoplePC, and Netscape Online. But here’s the thing, and forgive my ignorance, why do all these services suggest you need to download and install software just to dial in?
I mean, hasn’t dial up networking been a standard feature of various releases of Mac OS and Windows since 1995 or so? Why the extra “dialer”?
Anyway, my search for a bare-bones ISP lead me to FreedomList’s ISP directory, and the list of providers offering service in New Hampshire. That’s where I found VT Rocket, which offers plans ranging from $2.90/month (for 30 hours) to $9.95/month (unlimited).

I would like to know how to connect to the internet using the ISP but at end of month i dont have anything to pay. In other word using internet free.
Is there a way of doing it? Any software?
There is another servic called csonline at csonline.net they dont include any dialers or anthing (atleast when i had them they didn’t)
well , i have dial up but it is like 36.0 - 38.6 kbps ( r whatever ) and it is so slow whatever , and other people are sitting on hacked dial up at 236kbps , it is not fare how do i do this whith out a cost , r somthing faster anyway

Hacking dial up is rather easy. There’s two ways that you can hack it. 1. A fake ISP hack. This is commonly used to cover your tracks, it doesn’t get you anything but, and you still have to pay. To get it for free, if you know the local dialing number then you just need to find a password and user name for it. Try Google-ing fake or hacked adresses for your area’s dialing number. Good luck.
