Understanding Marijuana
Liane Hansen of NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday interviewed Dr. Mitch Earleywine about his recent book, Understanding Marijuana: A New Look at the Scientific Evidence this weekend. Earleywine has the credentials to look at this seriously and be taken seriously. But he probably won’t be.
There’s no shortage of books on this subject, and the Drug War marches on. But as long as we’re slinging books, let me throw Michael Pollan’s Botany of Desire at you. Pollan knows plants, and in his book he explains how four of them — the apple, tulip, marijuana, and potato — evolved to become as important and involved with our lives as they are.

scientifically, marijuana has a positive effect on cancer patients…. it is good to know that!
It is sad when addicts are bullied/forced to use illicit narcotics such as heroin. Those who do not use medicinal marijuana need to understand that it is a valid remedy for a number of ailments such as Bi-Polar,MS,Chemotherapy. The list of benefits could fill up pages, yet the government continues to brainwash us and put medicinal marijuana in the same category as drugs such as heroin,crack,methamphetamine,etc. People need to understand the benefits and need to stick up for their medicinal rights.

medicinal pot is great, but lets not forget our GOD given rite, Genesis 1:11. And God said, Let the earth bring forth Grass, the Herb yielding seed, and Fruit Tree yielding fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the Earth; and it was so.
