Identity Management Going Commodity?
Atlassian’s Crowd SSO and IdM solution has the kind of online pricing you’d expect for word processing software. I don’t know if it’s any good, but it’s a sign that identity management getting boring.

We’d be very happy to make identity management, SSO, virtual directories, and the like boring. It means that we’ve solved the hard problems in a way that makes sense to folks that are not directory experts.
We’re not there yet, but I think we’re moving in the right direction at a pretty decent pace…
