Mac + Cell Phone + Bluetooth + SMS
Old instructions that connect the Mac OS X Address Book app to a phone via Bluetooth from O’Reilly and SillyDog. Once paired, the Address Book can initiate dialing, notify the user of incoming calls, and send SMS texts.

I have tried the Bluetooth Texter Widget with a 12in G4 Powerbook working under Leopard and Bluetoothing to a Nokia 6233. This is a great solution. Better than the Tiger out-of-the-box solution. Getting going took seconds. However, if you use Skype then the the Leopard Address Book functionality can save money at times especially with international SMSs.
