As someone working in an academic library, I know that abiltiy to link to favorite books, to comment on them and to share those comments in social networking sites such as Facebook or mySpace is a service that our customers are expecting from us.</description>

I am in the unenviable position of being a library director in a consortium which offers downloadable audiobooks, but the interface is so clunky that I cannot promote it to my patrons.  All I can think of is how many users we are losing because they are turned off by unnecessarily hard to use interfaces to our web services, catalogs, etc.</description>
