It was amazing to hear the fireworks from one part of the city and then hear and see the lightening overhead. Like God was having an argument with the City of Perth who ran the event. Of course, I couldn't hear the comet, and the night we tried to see it was overcast. Two out of three. I was there, but in another part of town.
