As a complete non-techy with the same problem can someone tell me step by step how to locate and delete these files?

The original post says to remove using 'Sudo' - what is that?

Many thanks,
Dudley

Thank you for your post!

Honestly I don't know why people post solutions like these on the apple discussion boards and not in some other place. Posts like that seem to always disappear from the apple discussion boards after a short while and then the solution is lost.

Long story short: Your link to the post is just giving a "path not found" error.

same problem with logitech freedom headset, but in my case it worked when I first purchased it (i could turn it on and off and it would always connect) but now I have to re-peer each time to make it work. I will delete these files and see it is fixed. thanks

[...] I’m quite taken with my new Bluetooth headset, despite the little hiccup I encountered. So, naturally, I’m thinking about how it would work with the VoIP softphone that’s promised for the Pepper Pad soon. I’ve become a super-fan of Gizmo Project on my PowerBook, but that loaner Pepper Pad was a capable enough and more than portable enough machine that it has me wondering if I’d rather have a desktop Mac and a Pepper Pad when upgrade times comes. It has me wondering, anyway. [...]
