Have you had a chance to look at the VIEWS stuff on library Web Services? <a href="http://www.views-consortia.org/" title="http://www.views-consortia.org/">http://www.views-consortia.org/</a> I'm not convinced that the vendors are the way forward, may there should be a (possibly complimentary) library-driven project to create Web Services?
